This SAE Information Report contains definitions for HEV and EV terminology. It is intended that this document be a resource for those writing other HEV documents, specifications, standards, or recommended practices. The purpose of this document is to provide a record of commonly used terminology established by the echnical community involved with writing practices and information reports for HEVs and EVs.
