Scope: This European Standard specifies performance requirements and describes test methods for strength, security, function and corrosion resistance of locks for cycles. It also covers certain aspects regarding the safety of the rider of the cycle on which the lock is mounted. This standard covers permanently-mounted cycle locks and removable locks.
