- This standard specifies the terminology and general purpose, tolerances, technical requirements and inspection methods of industrial wire screens for sieving and filtering. This standard applies to pre-bent or pressure-welded wire screens in accordance with ISO 4783-3, made of high-strength steel, stainless steel or wire of other materials. This standard does not apply to ISO 4783-2 "Industrial Wire Screens and Wire Braided Mesh Mesh Size and Wire Diameter Combination Selection Guide Part 2 Wire Braided Mesh Chemical Selection Combination" (see GB/T 5330 Industrial Use Wire Woven Square Mesh Screen".
