Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the breakdown voltage of insulating oil. This standard applies to the determination of various insulating oils with a viscosity not greater than 350 mm2/s at 40°C, to the transfer test of unused insulating oils, and to the evaluation of the condition of samples during equipment monitoring and maintenance.
