This European Standard describes a method for determining the ability of high explosives for civil uses to detonate under applied hydrostatic pressure. This method is applicable to commercial explosives in cartridges and bulk products intended for use under wet conditions where hydrostatic pressure may adversely affect their safety and reliability.
