Scope

This standard is applicable to the determination of the corrosion resistance of glass-lined flat samples in sodium hydroxide solution. This standard is also applicable to the determination of the corrosion resistance of glass-lined flat specimens at temperatures below 80°C to other alkali solutions. Any changes made to this standard should be stated in the test report.
