- This standard specifies the method for determining the pot life of two-component or multi-component adhesives. This standard applies to the determination of the pot life of an adhesive under specified conditions by determination of bond strength, viscosity, or both. This standard is not suitable for the determination of adhesives with a very short pot life. Note: It is generally considered that the minimum pot life of adhesives suitable for the determination of this standard is 5 minutes.
