Scope
This standard describes the composition, physical properties and packaging requirements of self-hardening resin. The main component of this material is polymethylmethacrylate, the so-called acrylic bone cement, which is used for the fixation of orthopedic implants. This standard does not specify the toxicity or biocompatibility of the cement and is only used to maintain product consistency. The test results of the tests described in this standard may not be directly related to the effect of the product after it is inserted into the human body.
