Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the permeability resistance of protective glove materials under continued contact with non-gaseous and potentially hazardous chemicals. It should be emphasized, however, that this test is not representative of what would be seen in service, and the use of test data should be limited to comparisons of materials primarily on a relative basis over a wide range of throughflow times.
