Scope

This standard specifies the detection of ethanol content in denatured fuel ethanol by gas chromatography. The detection range of ethanol is from 93 to 97 % (m/m), and the detection range of methanol is from 0.1 to 0.6 % (m/m). Individual alcohols can be converted from % (m/m) to % (v/ v).
