Scope
This standard specifies the flame atomic absorption spectrometry method for the determination of total lead in coatings and related products. This standard applies to products with a total lead content of approximately 0.01 to 2% (m/m). Remarks: This method is also applicable to products with a total lead content higher than 2% (m/m), but only if the precision does not exceed the appropriate value in Section 7.2.
