- This standard specifies vibration test methods for complete transport packaged goods or unit loads of goods using sinusoidal wave vibration with variable frequency. This test method may be used to evaluate the effectiveness of strength or protection provided by packaged goods and unit loads to their contents when the packaged goods are subjected to vertical vibration. This test method can also be used as a single method to study the effects of vertical vibration.
