- Scope
- This standard applies to the quality and inspection methods of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) used as diesel engine fuel. This fatty acid methyl ester can be used at 100% (m/m) concentration or added to diesel fuel. When used at a concentration of 100% (m/m), it must be used in a specially designed or modified engine; when added to diesel, it must comply with the national diesel engine fuel standard CNS 147.
