Scope

This standard specifies methods for measuring various properties of paper and cardboard after treating them under moist heat at 80°C and 65% RH. Note: This method is applicable to the determination of the aging properties of writing paper and printing paper, but is not applicable to paper that is impregnated or coated with resin and will increase in strength due to heat, and electrical insulation paper that has separate test conditions.
