Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining free glycerol (0.005~0.5) mass% and total glycerol (0.05~0.5) mass% of biodiesel (methyl ester B-100) by gas chromatography. However, it does not apply to methyl esters derived from laurel oils (such as coconut oil and palm kernel oil, etc.).
