This chapter of GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced by the following: This part applies to the safety of electric vaporizers for household and similar purposes with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V. NOTE 101: Examples of appliances covered by this standard are air fresheners and insect repellents, which may have a power cord and plug or a plug connected directly to an electrical outlet. Appliances not intended for general household use but which may nevertheless cause a hazard to the public, such as appliances intended for use by lay persons in shops, light industry and on farms, are also within the scope of this Part. As a practical matter, this section covers appliances that present ordinary hazards that may be encountered by all persons in and around dwellings. This section generally does not cover the following situations:
——The dangers of unsupervised young children and disabled people using appliances;
——The situation of young children playing with appliances. Note 102: Attention is drawn to the following: Additional requirements may be required for equipment intended for use on vehicles, ships or aircraft;
——In many countries, national health care authorities, national labor protection authorities and similar authorities also Regulations have additional requirements. Note 103: This section does not apply to:
——Appliances designed specifically for 7: industrial purposes;
——Appliances intended to be used in special places, such as places with corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas). );
