- This standard specifies the use of wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer to determine the content of the main components of silica, aluminum oxide, total iron, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, manganese oxide, phosphorus pentoxide, and titanium dioxide in metallurgical slag samples. This standard is applicable to the determination of main components in blast furnace slag, electric furnace slag and converter slag samples.
