Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the ignitability of materials, composite materials or components with a thickness not exceeding 70 mm when they are placed horizontally under specified heat radiation conditions. Appendix A gives guidance on the interpretation and operation of the main text, and Appendix B gives a description of the limitations of the test.
