Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the calorific value of combustion of building materials in an oxygen bomb calorimeter with constant heat capacity. This standard specifies the method for determining the total calorific value of combustion (PCS). Appendix A specifies the method for calculating net calorific value of combustion (PCI). See Appendix B for the precision of this test method.
