- This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation method, energy conservation management and measures for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limit of carbon products and their main production processes per unit product. This standard applies to graphite electrodes (ordinary power graphite electrodes, high power graphite electrodes, ultra-high power graphite electrodes), carbon electrodes and carbon blocks (ordinary carbon blocks, graphite carbon blocks, semi-graphite carbon blocks, microporous carbon blocks) Calculation and assessment of energy consumption per unit product and main process of carbon production (roasting and graphitization process), as well as energy consumption control of newly built equipment.
