- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, specimen requirements, test procedures, calculations and test report requirements for continuous testing of meter resistance of solid metal conductors with uniform cross-sectional area. This standard is applicable to the continuous test of meter resistance of solid resistors, electric heating and heating resistor alloys with meter resistance in the range of 1×10Ω to 2×10Ω. It is also applicable to the continuous test of meter resistance of other solid metal conductors.
