SH/T 1760-2007 Detennination of residual monomers and other organic components in synthetic rubber lataces by capillary- column gas chromatography-direct liquid injection method (English Version)
Warning: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with the conditions stipulated in relevant national regulations. 1.1 This standard specifies a method for the determination of residual monomers and other organic components in synthetic rubber latex using capillary column gas chromatography-liquid direct injection method. 1.2 Residual monomers that can be successfully detected by this method include 1,3-butadiene, cis-2-butene, trans-2-butene, styrene, acrylonitrile and other monomers, as well as some by-products, such as toluene, ethyl Benzene, vinylcyclohexene and aminocyclohexene. 1,3-butadiene may co-elute with trans-2-butene and cis-2-butene. 1.3 Because chromatography usually yields a series of peaks, it can only detect the content of volatile components for which the mass correction factor is known. For some unidentified peaks, it is recommended to use some auxiliary methods, such as mass spectrometry or another chromatographic column with different polarities.
