- This part specifies the methods and basic requirements for field trials of insecticide efficacy against vegetable thrips. This section is applicable to insecticides for the control of Thrips palmi, Thrips tabaci, Thrips tabaci, Onions on solanaceous fruits, melons, onions and garlic vegetables and cruciferous vegetables. Field efficacy plot testing and efficacy evaluation for registration of Thrips alliorum, etc. Other field efficacy tests shall be carried out with reference to this section.
