Scope: This standard specifies tape-type optical fiber cords for indoor use. In addition to the requirements specified in JIS C 6870-2, the requirements of this standard apply to tape-type optical fiber cords covered by this standard. However, if this standard overlaps with JIS C 6870-2, this standard shall take precedence.
