Scope

This standard specifies a test method for directly measuring the fiber diameter of ramie (dried linen and combed linen strips) using a fiber diameter analyzer and indirectly obtaining the fiber decitex number and metric count. This standard is applicable to the determination of ramie fiber fineness.
