This standard specifies the method for identifying palm oil in vegetable oils by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the qualitative and quantitative determination of palm oil in vegetable oils (peanut oil, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, sesame oil, camellia oleifera oil). The minimum detectable amount of palm oil detected by this method is 5%.
