Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and test reports of flat-plate solar collectors. This standard applies to flat-plate solar collectors that use solar radiation to heat and the heat transfer medium is liquid. Not suitable for evacuated tube solar collectors and sun-dried water heaters.
