Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for ultrasonic flaw detection of processed products of titanium and titanium alloys, flaw detection equipment, comparison test blocks, flaw detection, acceptance, inspection records and reports. This standard applies to ultrasonic flaw detection of titanium and titanium alloy processed products with a cross-sectional thickness greater than 6 mm to 230 mm.
