Scope
This part specifies additional procedures and operating guidelines for continuous grain dryers and batch grain dryers for the drying performance test and evaluation of specific grains, including wheat, barley, oats, corn, rice, sorghum and rapeseed. This part is a supplement to the general method of GB/T 21163.1. The general method is to use dry wheat as the basic raw material, and limit the moisture content range of its wet basis to 20% to 15%. The purpose of specifying methods and parameters is to: a) Determine the moisture evaporation rate under the condition that the grain dryer is in a steady dry state. b) With reference to standards and other environmental factors, the main performance parameters of the corrected dryer include water evaporation rate, grain flow rate, drying time and unit energy consumption and fuel consumption. The procedure also describes the method of sampling incoming and outgoing material in order to evaluate changes in grain quality.
