Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and other requirements for oil coolers used in main transformers of electric locomotives. This standard applies to new oil coolers for main transformers of electric locomotives. Newly made oil coolers for main transformers of electric motor vehicles may also be implemented with reference to this standard.
