Scope
This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, test conditions and measurement methods for inspection of the shape, geometric density and appearance quality of sintered uranium dioxide pellets. This standard is applicable to the measurement of external dimensions, geometric density and inspection of appearance quality of sintered uranium dioxide pellets (which may contain gadolinium) for pressurized water reactors without mesopores. Core blocks with holes can be implemented as follows.
