Scope

This standard specifies the determination method for the content of foreign silicate particles (especially sand particles) insoluble in hydrochloric acid in tobacco (leaves, shredded tobacco, shredded tobacco leaves and tobacco dust) and tobacco products. This standard applies to the determination of the content of silicate particles insoluble in hydrochloric acid in tobacco and tobacco products.
