Scope
This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of plate. This product has been used as a moderate strength engineered plate used also for selected structural applications, but usage is not limited to such applications. Armor plate applications are possible, but specific sampling and testing procedures regarding material properties required for this application shall be mutually agreed by producer and user.
