Scope

This standard specifies the potassium dichromate method for the determination of chemical oxygen consumption in coal mine water. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical oxygen demand in coal mine water. The concentration range of this standard for determination of chemical oxygen demand is 30 mg/L ~ 500 mg/L. Diluting water samples can expand the measurement range.
