This standard specifies the use of the DC two-probe method to measure the resistivity of molten germanium ingots. This standard is suitable for measuring the resistivity of primary zone-melted germanium ingots produced by trapezoidal boats as specified in GB/T 11071 "Zone-melted Germanium Ingots". The resistivity measurement range is 0.1Ω·cm~100Ω·cm. This standard requires that the cross-sectional area of the measured part of the molten germanium ingot changes linearly along the length of the ingot, and the length of the ingot must be greater than three times the maximum size of the cross-section and the probe spacing.
