- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sodium mercaptoacetate. This standard applies to sodium thioglycolate industrial products obtained from thiourethane tail liquid or tail liquid after concentration and refinement. This product is mainly used to replace sodium cyanide and sodium hydrosulfide as copper minerals and during the separation of copper-molybdenum mixed concentrates. Pyrite inhibitor; can also be used as a hair remover.
