Scope

This standard specifies the classification, well selection conditions, technical requirements, selection of sucker rods and tubing, construction procedures, equipment installation and maintenance management of surface-driven screw pumps (hereinafter referred to as screw pumps). This standard applies to the use and maintenance of surface-driven screw pumps in the oil production process.
