Scope

This standard gives methods for the measurement, evaluation and calculation of ultraviolet radiation from lamps used in household and similar settings for skin treatment, mainly for health care purposes. This standard applies to discharge lamps, ie ultraviolet fluorescent lamps and high intensity discharge lamps. The above recommendations relate only to type testing.
