Scope

This European Standard describes a procedure for the determination of acid strength, as a pile value, of ethanol to be used as a blend component for gasoline. For further background on the applicability of this document, the user is referred to the information in Annex A. NOTE For the purposes of this European Standard, the term "% (V/V)" is used to represent the volume fraction.
