Scope
This standard specifies lighting design standards and lighting requirements for indoor workplaces to enable visual work to be carried out efficiently, comfortably, and safely throughout the entire work period. Please note that this standard does not describe how lighting systems and techniques should be designed to optimize a particular workplace. Additionally, information on how lighting systems and technologies should be designed to optimize specific workplaces can be found in relevant Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) guides and reports. .
