This standard specifies the titanium 15-molybdenum-5-zirconium-3-aluminum alloy wrought material (hereinafter referred to as Ti-15Mo-5Zr-3A1 alloy wrought material) used for manufacturing surgical implants. However, it stipulates the chemical composition, metallurgical properties, mechanical properties, and internal properties of the Ti-15Mo-5Zr-3A1 alloy wrought material, and safety has been carefully considered depending on the environment in which the implant will be used. After that, it must be used clinically. Furthermore, this provision does not apply to products made using this Ti-15Mo-5Zr-3Al alloy wrought material.
