This standard specifies the wrought titanium-15-zirconium-4-niobium-tantalum alloy material (hereinafter referred to as the wrought Ti-15Zr-4Nb-4Ta alloy material) used to manufacture surgical implants. However, it stipulates the chemical composition, metallurgical properties, mechanical properties, and internal properties of the Ti-15Zr-4Nb-4Ta alloy wrought material, and safety must be carefully considered depending on the environment in which the implant will be used. After that, it must be used clinically. Furthermore, this provision does not apply to products made using this Ti-15Zr-4Nb-4Ta alloy wrought material.
