Scope

This standard specifies, among other things, test methods for determining the carbon plaque content of polyolefin compositions used in the manufacture of pipes and fittings, and basic specifications for polyethylene pipes and fittings. This standard applies equally to materials taken from manufacturing raw materials, pipes or fittings.
