- This specification specifies the production and requirements for comparison test blocks for non-destructive testing of aerospace composite parts. This standard applies to the design, production, testing and quality of comparison test blocks for non-destructive testing such as ultrasonic, X-ray photography and thermal imaging of aerospace composite parts (including composite laminates, plate/plate bonded structures and sandwich structures) control.
