Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of total sulfur dioxide in fruits, vegetables and their products. This standard is applicable to the determination of total sulfur dioxide in fruits, vegetables and their products. The detection limit of the gravimetric method in this standard is 2.8 mg/kg, and the detection limit of the turbidity method is 0.3 mg/kg.
