Scope: This standard specifies a general method for the determination of mercury content in inorganic chemical products - flameless atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of mercury content in inorganic chemical products. When preparing the test solution, reference should be made to the standard relevant to the product being analyzed and this standard should be modified as necessary to make it suitable for the determination of the product. This standard applies to the mass concentration of mercury ions in the test solution taken from 0.04 μg/mL to 40 μg/mL.
