Scope

This standard specifies the naming rules, numbering rules and full names, abbreviations and numbers of national highway network lines. This standard applies to the naming and numbering of highway main lines, parallel lines, tie lines, regional loops and urban ring lines determined in the national highway network planning. The naming and numbering of provincial highway networks may be implemented accordingly.
