- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation of aluminum foil-faced petroleum asphalt waterproofing membranes (referred to as aluminum foil-faced membranes). This standard applies to waterproofing membranes that use glass fiber felt as the base, dip-coated with petroleum asphalt, embossed aluminum foil on the upper surface, and fine sand or polyethylene film on the lower surface for isolation treatment.
