Scope: This standard applies to indoor and outdoor AC isolating switches and grounding switches (hereinafter referred to as isolating switches and grounding switches) with system nominal voltages of 27.5kV, 2×27.5kV, 5kV, and 55kV and rated frequency of 50Hz and their operating mechanisms and Auxiliary equipment. This standard specifies the usage conditions, rated parameters, design and structure, type testing, factory testing, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high-voltage AC isolating switches and grounding switches for electrified railways.
