Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the method for measuring the apparent viscosity of petroleum wax (hot melt adhesive) containing additives. It is applicable to liquid hot melts with an apparent viscosity lower than 20 Pa·S when the temperature is lower than 175°C. 1.2 This standard stipulates that the international unit system shall be used as the standard unit of measurement. 1.3 This standard may involve certain hazardous materials, equipment and operations, but it is not intended to provide recommendations on all safety issues related thereto. Therefore, it is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and protective measures and develop applicable management systems before using this standard.
